2010: The Year of the New

Microwave (never had a new one before)
Washing machine (have had new ones before, it's usually cheaper than repairing them)
Mattress (second new one ever)
Printer (never had a new one before)
Patio table (second new one - the old one was perfectly good, just too small)
Toaster (never had a new one before, the old one was about 20 years old and has been handed on to a new user, it just didn't have enough slots)
Lots of bedside lamps
Lawn, from rolls of turf
Lawn sprinkler
New job for Rob
Birth pool, to be used in garden hereafter
Garden hose to fill birth pool cleanly
Baby

Hopefully 2011 will pass without any major household appliances going kaput.
