Mattress Toppers

We want to get a mattress topper to improve the bed quality of the sofabed. One which can be rolled up for storage, for preference, because otherwise we'll have to tack it to the ceiling when not in use. And we want to get it today.

Double bed, used more than it ought to have been as a bed, because I slept on it for two months day and night when I was ill that time in 2007. Really needs new foam but that's beyond us at present, perhaps later in the year.

Also, we are thinking of a new DVD player (one which works, perhaps) and a new multiple-CD-player, which takes up less space than the one we have, which, at a guess, is ten years old - ai731 gave it to us when she left for Canada before Linnea was born, and we assume she'd had it five years by then.


Ground floor:
Front room: Clear floor, tidy storage units, wash floor, hoover furniture
Front hall: Clear floor, tidy coat hooks, wash floor
Dining room: Clear tables, clear floor, clear top of piano, tidy storage units, wash floor, extend table
Kitchen: Clear floor, clear clean counter, clear dirty counter, wash clean counter, wash dirty counter, wash floor
Rear hall: Clear floor, tidy pantry, wash floor
Bathroom: Clear floor, clear windowsill, tidy storage units, wash floor, wash sink

First floor:
Spare room: Clear floor, tidy flat surfaces, hoover everything, make double bed
Kids' room: Change both sets of bedding, tidy up, hoover floor
Master bedroom: Clear floor, tidy as best we can, hoover as best we can (best not to tilt at windmills)
Landing: Clear floor, hoover (incl stairs)

Garden:
Tidy all non-rainproof things
Wash and fill sandpit
Put washing line in proper place

Errands: Sort party food, buy extra groceries at market, buy washing line spike, buy mattress topper, wrap pass-the parcels, box up party kit ready to transport

It will be 10 years old in October this year. I bought it for my 30th birthday / moving to Reading housewarming party. I'm still using the Thinkpad that the insurance replaced when the one that was looted from Pilot stolen when I was burgled in Reading, so it must be at least 6 years old. It's nice when modern electronics actually last a while!
