The most notable thing about last night was that Emer woke up saying "Yaya give my ball back! MY BALL! Yaya give my ball BACK a ME."
Also, "No nigh'-time, no, no, NO nigh'-time, NO."
Uhuh.
So today started slowly, but cheerfully, with plenty of sunshine.
10:30
Put on a load of laundry
Found clean clothes and dressed self
Fed self and children
Salvaged I-can-do-it-myself breakfast food waste
Sorted the-internet-is-broken
11:10
Changed dirty nappy
Hung clean wet nappies, including strumming the washing lines to get the raindrops off them.
Sorted dry nappies into wraps and stacked in the stacker ready to use
Put all bathroom toys in basin of bleach, including squeezing the air out of each one so they could fill with bleach, because some of them are clearly mouldy on the inside, so I must assume the opaque ones are too.
Cleared and swept bathroom floor, including all the corners, so in theory I could wash it now.
12:10
Scrubbed bathroom basin, including pedestal
Cleaned outside toilet, including murky pipes etc
Washed toilet brush stand and bleached toilet brush
Changed another dirty nappy
Scrubbed bathroom floor thoroughly and dried it
15:00
Cleared clean side of kitchen (for food prep, as distinct from dirty side for stacking dirty dishes)
Cooked lunch and fed children
Cleared bleach out of bath toys and poured solution into loo to bleach that
Made fresh solution for kitchen; soaking teacups and teaspoons now
Washed and dried some dishes
Emptied and refilled dishwasher
Sorted bathroom stuff into toilet bags; one for dental floss, handcream, etc, and one for cloth sanitary towels all sorted out. Also, I have a little pouch with brand new unused organic cotton STs in it. I think I'm subconsciously saving them for a special occasion. I'm like that with new things. Anyway, I think now the bathroom is clean and tidy and just needs to be decorated and have the flaking paint dealt with. That's an achievement, for me.
