Lovely day
Nov. 12th, 2008 09:07 pmWe got up, and the children and I had breakfast with my mother, and then we walked her to the train station and said goodbye, and left her there while we walked to the swimming pool, and Linnea had her lesson and Emer and I swam, and then Linnea swam with us, and then we all had long hot showers because the pool was very cold, and then we got dressed, and then I called Alison and arranged to meet her and two of her children in the park, and then we went home and I made hot chocolate and grabbed some snacks, and then we went to the park and met Maria and Louis and Pheobe, and then the other arrived, and all the children played together and some of them ate flapjacks, and then we went to the Workhouse Coffee Shop and Linnea and Emer had some brownie, and then we went to the charity shop and I bought some gilets in various sizes, and then we came home and I hung three loads of laundry and Emer had a nap, and then Kristin and Jojo came, and then Rob came home, and then we had dinner, and then I sorted the books in the kids' room (used a baking tray separator as a series of bookends for the thin paperback large picture books) and then the children went to sleep one after the other and now Rob is going to make more flapjacks and I may have a bath and really, it's frightfully civilised.
I think Rob's depression may be getting under control, though it's hard to tell, because the drug-withdrawal symptoms when he forgets to take a pill are complicating observations.
