This morning was lost to pregnancy fog, but I salvaged the afternoon and the children ended up loving me again. And even quite liking me, too. I did three loads of laundry and two in the dishwasher and cleaned three-quarters of the kitchen and slightly tidied the front room and when people showed up suddenly at half past two ish I was able to make tea and talk to them, and the children had breakfast and lunch and got dressed and had their teeth brushed, and even did their reading (Emer wrote me a little note, which had many scratch-marks meaning "This is for you mum lots of love from" and an E for Emer) and watched Alphablocks on the telly and did drawing and then Lucy came round and we ate and Rob went out and played games and then came home in a really good mood.
I found it really easy and quick to get the children to bed, and Rob is out again tomorrow evening at bedtime so I'll do it again then, and then Rob hopes to use my method to get them to bed on Wednesday. You never know your luck.
Also, I found a pack of Haliborange Vitamins A, C and D, which might help Emer's calcium absorption. And I printed out new ticklists, which they seem to like.
You never know, we might be getting sorted out... At least we eat a lot of good food. Even if that meant Emer tried a pickle and ketchup sandwich this evening.
