I'm drinking either good stock or bland soup, I think. It's what you get when you take all the veg peelings out of the freezer, and put them in a slow cooker for ages with the mutton bone. Most of the result is in jugs, but I have a mugful of it here.

But tell me, with the veg peelings, are you not also freezing a fair bit of garden dirt? Or do you scrub before peeling? Or wha'?
