Redo from start
Sep. 18th, 2008 05:51 pmI'm very tired today; Emer came into our bed about 1 am and it's just not big enough for three any more. She takes up as much space as Rob does, so there's nothing left for me. I need to be stricter about getting her out again but in the middle of the night my hands don't work very well.
Emer caught up on her missed sleep in the morning, some of it in the sling and some on the sofa.
The early part of the morning went well and I got a lot of laundry done and some dinner prep, but then failed to get in touch with people we were supposed to be seeing so we were a bit disappointed by that. It wasn't a real problem until we went grocery shopping and Linnea entered the shop, sat on the floor, and cried. I cuddled her until she got distracted by choosing fruit juices and then we got on with things. She was much more cheerful after that.
We had risotto for dinner and then Emer went to sleep - astoundingly early. I have no idea what's going on with her any more. We've put her to bed for the night and I will try to soothe her back down if she wakes again. Or she may decide to get up at 10 pm and stay up for HOURS. Who knows?
I think I might decide to go to bed as soon as Linnea does - probably 9pm - and stay there until Emer makes me get up. I'm very tired and hormonal.
My hormones are giving Emer spots. I must sort myself out some Evening Primrose Oil.
