Yesterday I bought Nation and I enjoyed it very much though the very very end was slightly disappointing. Today I've done laundry and cleaned up babies and served breakfast.

Last night Emer slept for six hours straight all in a row. I'm hoping it's the beginning of the end of the sleep pattern we all hated. I woke up anxious, of course, and couldn't quite get back to sleep again, about 4:30 am. But she was fine.

Today we are staying at home until Rob comes back from work with his wallet containing my grocery account card. There's a lot to do at home, between children and housework and art and making lots of noise and so on, so we shan't be bored.

I'm striuggling with Nation, I think I'm used to more humour in pterry books. He said himself at the kiddie klatch that the ending is realistic & how it should end, but most people won't like it as we expect kids stories to end happily evert after a la disney. I don't know how it ends yet though, I'm up to the bit where Ermintrude (Or whatever her name is) has invited Mau for tea.
