We need to rejig them again. I think Linnea needs to go to bed at 8:30, not 8, and Emer needs to comply with my desired sleep pattern dammit nap less and sleep more at night; her current bedtime seems to be 11 pm, which drives me mad.

I'm leaving her to sleep as long as she can this morning in hopes of avoiding a nap, which might push her bedtime earlier. I also need to buy more coffee.

And today I have put three absorbent waterproof underblankets in the wash. Linnea had a rough night. I have yet to wash her duvet and pillow.

So I'm not the only one with a 2-year-old who doesn't sleep until 11pm! He sometimes has 4 hr day naps, sometimes no nap (and everything in between). Doesn't seem to affect sleep time that much.

It's great to hear that they can settle earlier as they get older.

Mine go to bed at 8.30 now during the week, it may get taken back to 8 when the clocks change & it is dark, though Kate now gets home at 7,30 on Monday night & 8.15 on Wednesday after activities. Bedtime is 9 at weekends, though can be 9.30. Bedtimes are more rigid when it's just me as I want some time to myself before I go to bed.
