K's first and favorite color was yellow. She'd point it out everywhere, and she especially liked to tell people how she had yellow hair.

But she pronounced it "lellow."

I remember being incredibly annoyed with my best friend Mary H when I was 4 or 5 because she continued to say "lellow" after she's learned to do "y"s properly because she knew it was cute.
