August started with a pleasant waking and then warm plum clafouti for breakfast, and two cups of tea. The children are being reasonable and the shower worked fine. Things are looking up.

Yes, but AUGUST already! And I'm still waiting for summer to start. There was a spider on the window today, and that means it'll soon be September, mark my words. Sighhhhhhh.
