The feel of rain

It's raining hard now, has been for some time, and it feels wonderful. This feeling of being swept clean and made strong by a massive natural rush totally beyond my control is very similar to the feeling I get about my children. I don't even need to be in the rain to feel excited by it - it's huge drops, warm, strong, soft, unstoppable.

Amazing.

And with luck everyone will be in a better humour tomorrow.
