Well, I guess I was tired
Jun. 6th, 2008 08:18 amI fell asleep on the sofa sometime between 8 and 9 pm and only woke long enough to go to bed before this morning. I mean, I woke for seconds a few times, to feed Emer, swap her over to the other side, etc, but wow. I guess I was tired.
Actually, I'm still tired. I guess I was exhausted.
That was eleven hours' sleep. I've taken antihistamine, Rob made me coffee and ran me a bath before he left, so I'm drinking the coffee while I write this. I've put a load of laundry on. The children are eating bananas in front of the telly for "breakfast." After my bath I need to get the trike ready to go out, and make sure I have all the swimming-lesson stuff, and pack a picnic lunch.
Good things: Oh my god, the sleep. Also, the laundry basket is empty except for two handwash-only items (vast tablecloth oilcloth thing, and Indian trousers of joy). The children seem happy. It's a swimming lesson day. I delivered 120-odd True Food leaflets yesterday (Linnea helped, but she doesn't like letterboxes with bristles, and she hates doors with "No Leaflets" signs - apparently our leaflets shouldn't count because she likes them).
Bad things: I have TWO assignments to do for my class today and I'm going to do them both... tomorrow.
