Nicknamed the "cuddle chemical", oxytocin is a naturally produced hormone, which has been shown to play a role in social relations, maternal bonding, and also in sex.

I can't begin to articulate how frightening I find this.

overhyped findings probably misquoted from scientific american - the original article is far more sensible and cautious

I knew about the effects of the hormone and I knew that it had been tested on men using financial transactions as the basis for measuring trust. I didn't know anyone was touting it as a potential product. That's the horrible part.

hmmm iirc, the sciam article states plainly that the product probably won't work - so it may well be a scam (hopefully!)
