Of course. For a start, "I'm sorry" doesn't fix anything. It can open the way for things to be fixed, but it's not any kind of glue in itself.

Some things can't be fixed without it, of course. Most of the unfixed and unfixable things in my life are because of the complete absence of "I'm sorry."

And "I'm sorry" can lead to forgiveness (fixed!) without regained or re-earned trust (still broken?) which is... something I'm happy with in many cases.

"I'm sorry" doesn't fix anything. But sometimes, it would be a good start.

Ditto, ditto, ditto. You said it well.

I think it's a very badly-worded question.

Really there should be two parts to this: has anyone done something to you so bad that you can't/couldn't forgive them; and has anyone done anything to you so bad that it can't be fixed.

I have to answer no to both of those - whether that means I'm daft or just very lucky I don't know.
