Rob has successfully negotiated slightly altered working hours specifically citing ordinary family commitments (at least one meal a day with the children!) and an unwillingness to regularly do unpaid overtime.

I am proud and delighted.

Yes, absolutely! I also advocate flexibility for disability-rights reasons too, so many of us can work, just not in inflexible ways. It's even better for the economy to have flexible working and sensible working hours - productivity goes up when hours are reduced to 30-35!

Yes, that too. Rob applying was patriarchy-related but of course it's also good for anti-ablism etc.

I was at the local pool today. There's no way to get to the viewers gallery with a wheelchair. I was, briefly, livid.

I wonder some days how much rage one body can sustain. I think hate might be more tiring still, though.
