I finally tried on bras today, and the smallest band size I could find in a nursing bra was a 32, and that was definitely a smidge too big, though on the absolute tightest setting it was ok-ish. That means if it stretches with age I'd be stuck.

Also, it wasn't available in a cup size larger than E, and that was too small. So I think I need a 30FF, and Figleaves.com only have one bra in that size, and it's only 69% cotton, which makes me nervous.

So can anyone recommend anywhere else for drop-cup 30F or 30FF in as high a % of cotton as possible? I expect to be wearing this bra for 2-3 years.

Thanks!

You could try NCT - see http://www.nctsales.co.uk/nctbra_info.asp?cat=97&scat=97&parent=250&type=1 for details of their bras and sizes offered.

I've heard good things about Bravissimo (and their bra-fitting service in their brick-and-mortar shops), though also that they tend to be expensive.

They also have a few models of nursing bras, including some in 30F and 30FF, on their website.

Have you looked at Decent Exposures? They have 100% cotton nursing bras in the size you're looking for.

I was just coming to offer a suggestion of Bravissimo. A friend who is a 30E said that they were the saviours against a great deal of back pain and strife.

Adding my voice to the Bravissimo chorus - they can be quite expensive, but I think a cotton nursing bra would come in at under thirty quid and their stuff is good quality.

Bravissimo have always been very good to me. Their prices, although on the surface expensive, are no worse than any other lingerie shop, it's just that BHS and the supermarkets sell "basic" bras cheaply.

Frankly once you're into the Bravissimo size range, you will probably want rather more support than a supermarket bra gives...

http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/nursing-bras is the page you'll want, and if you email them they'll give you precise fibre contents- they only tell you what's in them on the website rather than proportions.

I've been very happy with my bravissimo nursing bras - they are still going strong after 20-odd months.
