She's definitely not ill enough to warrant the hassle of the GP. I am assuming, at this stage, that it's Just A Virus. And amazingly I'm the only other person to have anything like it. And she will only sleep or nap in contact with my bare skin.
Oh god, I am so tired. I think it's paracetamol time tonight. We don't like to overdo the rectal paracetamol.
(I'm glad the doctor I spoke to on the phone was never my mother though - he said "There's nothing you can do for chicken pox." I said "What about paracetamol and calamine lotion?" He said "They'll just make her feel better, they won't do anything for the chicken pox.")
