Delightful day
Apr. 4th, 2008 07:57 pmLinnea is back to herself. It's having my attention that does it.
I got Babette Cole's Mummy Laid an Egg out of the library; I rather like it, but Linnea didn't seem to think anything of it. She thought the balloons scene looked perfectly plausible, too.
She has been very interested in numbergames but not very interested in talking to me about them so I bought her a book of them. The assistant in Waterstones was very helpful; I said "She can add up up to ten, but she can't read, and she doesn't want me interfering, so something without instructions would be good," and we found just the thing.
Emer adores her slings, especially my African wrap, which is, incidentally, great for carrying a messenger bag, because of having no straps.
