Numbergames

Linnea and I played Number Games today. That's adding up to you and me. She really, really enjoyed it. She and Emer have also been building and stashing Cuisenaire rods in their box. And making pies and chips from them (the red ones go nicely on the yellow ones).

Emer says "Dope" for soap. Well, first she signed it, then I checked I understood her sign, then she said it. A few times.

Rob has put an inner tube on the trike so we can park it for the night; I need to go back tomorrow and sort out rim tape and checking the tire itself. And properly secure the front light.

But first I must go to the library with my children and do the BfN thing and bring all my slings.

Oh - the police called; they have CCTV of the desperadoes who stole my handbag and will be coming to take a statement soon. Linnea says she will watch the pictures and then she will know who the nasty people are and she will catch them. But I bet she loves having a policeman visit.

Must get the fire brigade to call. There wasn't time to appreciate them today at the Town Hall because it was raining and they were busy.

I didn't realise your kids and you had or were learning sign... :)

We do babysigning, a little, so they are quicker than most to turn their needs into easily readable madey-uppy signs. I don't know what the actual sign for soap was, but Emer's was drawing something on the palm of her hand with a finger, then "washing" them.
