Lurged beyond lurgest lurg.

My nose, as Calvin might say, is just stuffed. My head is woolly and my ears are ringing; sounds come in distantly. I can't smell even the most noxious of infant odours. Things taste funny. And when I went to the pharmacist for advice he said to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic.

Nooooo.

For a start, I've almost beaten this thing; the tonsils are settled down, the chest is almost clear, it's just the nose. For another, NO CANDIDAZ DO NOT WANT.

Emer and Linnea are wandering merrily on their immunised breastfed baby ways. Linnea has been a bit "UR GERMS LET ME LOOK AT THEM" but is beginning to realise that Charlie and Lola's version of germs isn't really true.

Emer says Mum and Bye properly now. Is so cute am ded.

Linnea doesn't like blueberry pancakes. They have STUFF in them icky ewwww.

I have chicken stock prepped and leeks bought.

But my food source may vanish! The True Food Co-op desperately need more customers or they may go out of business. Since a huge Tesco has just opened around the corner this seems increasingly likely to me. I hate Tesco. I haven't read that book, Tescopoly, but I hate them anyway. NO NO TREEZ, they say, TREEZ AN HOSPITTLE BAAAAD. HAVE SHOPS YUM NAO. WAT IS PLANNING PERMISSION?

I haven't seen my cats for hours.

Linnea's dislike of STUFF in her food calls up memories of my only niece (now in her mid-20s), earnestly explaining that, no thank you, she did *NOT* want any pizza, even though she admitted to liking all the things that went into the pizza. "It has too many FOODS in it!" she exclaimed.

Off topic, as a distraction...

We found something you and the girls might like. Paint a Puzzle - paint your own picture on a 15 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle (about A4 size). Comes with a small paintbrush and four small pots of paint (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow).

I'm selling them at £4 a set, and I have 6 in stock. You get first dibs if you want them.

Ah, must check whether any of the TF co-op markets is actually reachable from where I live on a bus without insanity.

UR CATZ R AFEERD OF TEH LOL.SRSLY.

I have a tesco dilemma - near my house there are a small Costcutter/postoffice, a small Premier corner shop, a small Sainsbury's/petrol station, and a small Tesco Express. The Tesco has the best range of vegetables (the others sell hardly any) and it's difficult to avoid going in there sometimes :/

Yoghurt is goooooo-- ah. Dairy. Hm.

Probiotic pills are gooooooood. From the Health Food Shop (yes, I know), and dairy free for all those people who can't have live yoghurt. All the bacteria, none of the lactose. Or casein. Or Cow Cooties.

I always have stocks of friendly bacterial pills (and usually more than I need, and they don't keep for ever), so if [livejournal.com profile] ailbhe ever needs them...
