Camera, playdough, banana peel, socks

ailbheEmer is learning to use the camera. She's fascinated by it, but some way off figuring it out yet.
She has also been doing new things with playdough, and is becoming quite adept at rolling snakes. She loves the rolling pin - I demonstrated, and she said "Wow!" and immediately had to have a go.
That was nothing to her reaction to relief pictures in playdough, though. Press shape in, take shape off, gt picture. "Oooh, woooooooow."
Linnea has been making smiley faces on the mirror in the corner, and hippo biscuits. I made bananas and peas. Linnea is excellent at sharing with Emer, when it suits her, and explained the rules of "Tata" very carefully to me. "No, it's always giving to the baby, and saying Tata, and giving something else to the baby, again. Not the baby giving something to me!"
Emer has peeled a banana from scratch - split the skin, peel it off, eat the banana. She's always had someone start the process before. I was impressed.
And neither child appears to have any socks, according to, er, them.
