Away from home one night a week for a year?!

February/March - four weeks with my mother, ill.
April - seven nights at Centreparcs with my fambly!
August - four nights camping with my fambly
September - four nights with the girls, then two nights with Rob and the girls
November - seven nights at Centreparcs with my fambly again!
December - two nights at my in-laws for Christmas

So all four of us spent 22 nights away from home, not including single nights in London on friends' floors and sofas. The children and I spent a further four nights for pleasure and about 26 nights for convalescing. All in all, I spent at least 52 nights not in my own home.

Let's not add up the days I spent ill. There was a lot of overlap between family holidays and me being ill.

This year will be different. It will include a lot of time away from home visiting people, of course, but I won't be ill once.
