I think I could get into this. I've discovered that Dave, a channel which its adverts led me to believe was entirely made of unwatchable ick, shows a lot of funny panel shows at times when the children will allow me to watch them. I also found the "reset" section in the manual, so the automatic tuning works, so I can have radio again.

I have also been watching various Irish comedians on Youtube. Gosh. I need to pay more attention to these people.

Tomorrow I have a lot of cycling to do. The children's coughs are sufficiently reduced that I think I can take them to toddler group.

And people really get excited about washing dishes. Where does the word teatowel come from?

Which Irish comedians in particular? Are they in Irish or English?

I love Mock the Week, and last night we watched an episode of Never Mind the Buzzcocks that neither of us remember seeing first time around.

So, yes, Dave's interesting us too.

Hallo - we met months ago in Trennels.
I think that teacloth might have originated when the lady of the house insistesd on washing her own tea china in a bowl in the drawing room after the guests had gone - and dried it with a tea towel
Anyway, that's what my aunts did

Dave is the channel I watch most at the moment because I love Top Gear and QI, and currently it's showing very little else.

I was mildly annoyed when it had its name change though, and I found out I wasn't in their target demographic.
