Well, I'm back down to my pre-pregnancy weight.

My pre-Linnea weight, that is.

I don't look skinny, but weight loss always worries me. This weight is about as low as I can go, I think.

This is the weight below which I was unable to conceive. Admittedly I have a tube full of drugs in my arm now so that's not an issue, but nonetheless, that seemed like a pretty clear "healthy minimum" indicator to me.

Rob and Linnea made banana muffins this evening, in my new mini-muffin baking trays (Thanks Kim - will never stop buying them now, SO much better than any alternatives). We have an apple muffin recipe to try out. We have flapjack recipes. I have a flask for hot lunches while out.

Any other getting-calories-into-self tips?

Milkshakes/smoothies?

Also, the tube in your arm may be affecting your weight, as might changes in your diet and level of exercise.

add sugar to tea, full fat milk, red meats, salt (catmum adds that) and biscuits. Everything that dieters are told to cut out!

Mum's going through everything that she shouldn't eat! *g*

Olive oil, on everything (a dish of it with some good bread to dip in is a good snack...). Cheese. Crisps...

What the others suggested...lipids are very calorific (and some are healthful).

Fat. Nuts, nut butters, butter, cream, avocadoes, olives. Fat.

Have you talked to your doctor about this?

Peanut butter, avocadoes, olives, olive oil in stuff.

Lots of snacks - eat 6 times a day. Breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid-afternoon tea, dinner, supper. That's not including fruit.

You may not be able to move, or have time to do anything else, of course!

My favourite food for doing this was pancakes. Also just trying to eat a little bit extra, especially full fat versions of stuff, e.g., cream. But just little bits or you might put weight faster than is comfortable.

I would like to stress again that you didn't look unhealthy though I understand why you're concerned.

And it's so easy to lose weight when you're feeling ill, isn't it? Enjoy the pancakes. :-)

Cimplex carbs do it for me. I fatten like anything on pasta, noodles, rice and cereal. If it says 'low fat', I usually end up feeling crappy and then getting fatter. The feeling crappy part may not recommend this as a plan, thinking about it.

I hope you are a lot healthier soon.
