Somewhat bitter but *what* a good day.
Nov. 1st, 2007 10:40 pmFirst, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday without being asked to. It made a huge difference.
Second, once again I spent the day at Kew Gardens, and it was warm and sunny, and we ate outdoors. We were with Kim, who broughta candle for my birthday cake, and apple muffins, and bara brith, and presents, and ALL SORTS which was lovely, because starting the day at 5 am after 4 hours interrupted sleep doesn't make me a cheerful funbunny.
Linnea and Kim sang Happy Birthday to me. Linnea wasn't sure what to put in for my name, so mimicked Kim. Also, all day, Linnea was delightful and helpful and charming, more or less, and Emer was sunny and sweet and affectionate and walky.
We are busy incubating germs, me and Rob. Mine are in my chest and his are in his throat.
