The evenings drawing in
Oct. 29th, 2007 06:21 pmWell, when Emer and I brought Linnea home from nursery school today, it was chilly enough to see our breath on the air and dark enough to turn the lights on as soon as we got home. The central heating was on and we came in and had a cup of tea and a flapjack.
It was lovely.
Now all I need to do is get oomph enough to hang laundry early in the morning so it gets daylight.
(This morning was a little exciting because I poured hot coffee all over my neck and chest, and since I couldn't see it and Rob couldn't judge its severity, I brought it to A&E. Fine. It's a bit sore but will leave no marks; I got cold facecloths onto it FAST and kept them there until the cold hurt more than the burn).
