But I'm waaaay too tired to write about any of it.

I need to finish making bread, and Rob and I will probably do more sorting in the attic. Today we worked wonders; One whole side is totally organised, the BabyDan is in use as a loft hatch surround (because we were up here with both children), there are shelves and a wardrobe rail, and I've listed a bunch of stuff on Freecycle.

I think the most time consuming part will be sorting through the enormous boxes of paperwork. All Rob's university notes, all his bank statements for life, that sort of thing. I have about 8 years of bank statements and a lot of letters from friends.

We also have mountains of DIY stuff we don't need; parts ordered as "spares" for various projects which were totally unused, so now new, pristine, and unreturnable.

I think our next task is to remount the loft ladder facing the other way, as although the way it is now suits me better, it's not good for Rob. And it needs to be good for Rob if we're going to move the TV up here.

And then there's ceiling and insulating. We want to get the roof insulated before we remove the insulation under the floor, because at present the rest of the house is insulated, it's just the attic as isn't.

But the attic is now almost at a stage where we can start bringing things up from the spare room, which would be lovely. I'd love to be able to see the bed in there again. Or the floor.

The baby stuff is almost all laid out so we can access what we need as and when we need to bring it into use. And the mountain of old shoes is there. I need to think about how I feel about reusing shoes, and then give the ones I don't want to reuse to charidee. I am happy to reuse moccasins and wellington boots, I think.

We have two electric fan heaters, an aircon unit, and at least one floorstanding fan. Need to make a decision about those too.
