REWARD for safe return
Sep. 30th, 2007 09:53 pmWe're offering one, but haven't decided how much. We can't afford much, frankly. Rob is out putting up posters now.
I can understand the temptation to steal our trike and rideit around; it's a fun vehicle, most people never see one; it's easy to learn and looks much less serious than stealing a car.
But I'm seriously inconvenienced by its loss, and by the loss of the cheap buggy that lives locked to its panniers. I need to decide whether to struggle around with a double buggy, or make Linnea walk, or dig out an old buggy, or what. At least none of the bike helmets were inside it - those are all safe in the house. Often they're all locked into the storage space for convenience.
If only we hadn't had plans yesterday and today we'd have had it back by now; people have tried to tell us at least twice that they had seen it in the past five minutes, and it's always been within a minute's walk of our house.
