It is terribly, terribly sad. I heard about it on Sunday night from my mother as some of my family leave relatively nearby. I looked, as one does, to see if it was anyone I knew but was quite distressed when I read some details.
I'm sorry for your loss and have been thinking about the family.
I obviously read about it and it struck me kind of hard. I had a significant case of pnd myself 2 years ago and we're approaching the sixth anniversary of my cousin's death (he was also clinically depressed). Again, my deepest sympathies to all those who knew and loved her.
My thoughts are with the family. I'm not a religious person, but I know there are two new stars up in the sky tonight. I dearly hope that this can only raise awareness of PND, to prevent further tragedies happening, and so that those who need help and support do not go unheard. "Good night, sweet prince, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest"
Some of us are too close to the angels to last long on this earth.
My thoughts are with you and your family. A tragedy like this can never be 'gotten over', but you CAN, eventually learn to live with it.
I sufferd from PND myself, so I have no condemnation for your cousin, she was lost. Now let's hope she has found some peace. Her beautiful babe is still part of her love.
I don't wish to sound cliched, but my heart really is aching for both of them right now.
To Nollaig's mother, if I may. Your lost must be the most accute. I can think of no pain worse than living to see your child die. And to have it so tragic, with the loss of your grandchild too... Please reach out and take the comfort of those around you. You will need it in the days to come. There will be harsh and careless words said, no doubt, but concentrate on your beautiful daughter. Her sufferring is, at least, now over.
Good Luck. If you have no objection, I shall, according to my own beliefs, send White Light your way. This is intended to bring healing and comfort, by actively directing positive energy to you. I guess most people would call it praying. :-)

What an absolute tragedy.
