I was told all my life - well, since I was about 14 - that my head wasn't a good shape for shaving, and because I had so much hair I couldn't tell, I assumed it was true until all the hair came off.

So which one should I iconify?

Meh. Occasionally I shave mine. Usually when hung over on a hot day. Then I do things like *icon* and have instant waist-length hair. Yay!

Thanks, it's nice to know one person thinks so! I was quite fond of the Amelie look but everyone else seems to prefer this one and it's *far* more practical. I'm not sure which I prefer the look of, to be honest, since once the Amelie one had grown for three days it needed another trim to suit me properly, which is very high-maintenance.

I preferred the longer hair, as well - not that I've seen you in person with either haircut, so my opinion's probably rather irrelevant. How long would it take to get from one to the other? Presumably not too long, if your hair grows that fast, so you could always alternate.
