Still not dead

ailbheLinnea's scalp is nicely scabbed, hair stuck deep in piles of dried blood. Linnea bit Emer, left a graze on her cuticle. Buggy bit me, left blood blister from the harness fastener on my thumb. Nobody dead.
In other news, my cunning plan for a book club isbeing scuppered by red tape. Even Marjorie can't fix it! I have to go all the way to the town centre to fill in the forms to form an official book club which can reserve library books for its members. Marjorie - the chief librarian at the local branch - phoned them up and asked if they could send the forms to my local branch and apparently they can't, boo hiss. She even told them that I've been ill and I have two small children and I can't get that far, which is, lamentably, true. I can only go that far with help. Boo hiss.
And on a brighter note, I found this toy on the footpath today, missing the tools; Linnea is having great fun with it and we may get her the tools for her birthday.
