ailbhe: (emer looking at mammy)

I don't know if I remembered to mention it, but Emer started learning to sit up in mid-December, in [livejournal.com profile] radegund's house, and is now pretty accomplished at it. And today her two bottom teeth came in, indubitably, after a morning of serious chompiness. Nothing like a pincer grip yet though, and no more interest in food than in anything else - she's as likely to want to eat paper as bananas.

Different kids are different. Whoda thunk?

Twins are very instructive for that. At about eight months R could crawl and M could sit up (but not vice versa) and M used to send R around the room to fetch her toys. Also, M had a tooth at four months or so, by which I told them apart when one of them woke up for a nighttime feed: we called them the Braille Twins.
