Her First Time

Today for the first time I flossed Linnea's teeth. She rather enjoyed it. She also has medium-good self-brushing technique, which is nice, though obviously she still needs an adult to "finish it off" for her (read "actually brush").

Rob is home because he has time in lieu to use up and I'm ill, so it's simplest. I have hjuge great hemispherical lumps in the back of my throat, and my nose and ears are all gunged up. Deeelightful. We're hoping I recover enough this afternoon to get to Kew for my birthday as originally planned. If we do, would anyone like to meet up with us? I won't be going if I think I'm contagious.

Linnea is officially two and a half now. Wow.

Happy halfbirthday to Linnea.
I've just been catching up on your last week or so - first I was really busy and then I was really ill (are the two connected I wonder?)
I do hope you will start feeling better soon. I think being the mother of small children is incredibly difficult and relentless, no matter how delightful they are.
