Winter Blues

The evenings are closing in and the dark is weighing down on me. I've already moved the laptop and the dining table so that all geekery is next to an uncurtained window, and all meals are there too.
And then there's the schedule...
Now, this is a good thing, for winter. It will get me out of the house and busy doing things and meeting people. It will make sure Linnea is amused and active when I just want to sit her in front of endless repeats of Wallace and Gromit. But when am I going to do all the other things I want to do TOO? Like this BfN training? Hmm? The children's writer's workshop I may or may not be helping to run for the Home Ed group will just mean starting earlier on Fridays... but what if we want to do pottery, or knitting, or home-piercing and tattooing? hmm? Where's the time for that?
I had more free time when I was paid to work 80 hours a week. Yeesh. At least then it wasn't a safety issue if we skimped on housework.
