Hi Ailbhe, it's Daphne (still don't know how not to be anonymous). I do a lot of work training medical students (I got into it because of my past horrors with my first baby) and one of the things they are taught is that "common things are common" - eg your headache is UNLIKELY to be a brain tumour. Fair enough as far as it goes - - but if you have something that's fairly rare, in my experience they frequently can't cope with it, or think you're overplaying it. (GRRRRRRR!) Linnea's birth sounds truly horrific - have you written an actual account of what happened that I can read? I have been playing a pregnant woman in an exam for medical students all day today and it was strange to be back in that pregnancy-world after seventeen years. I SO wish you all the best for the birth and for your new baby.
