About an hour ago, I had my first flashback for ages, triggered by, ahahahahaha, a description of a flashback. That took me by surprise. Luckily I had an IM client and people willing to talk to me until I was sane again, and then once I could stand up I also had tea and cake (cake! with chocolate on!) and it didn't last very long itself and the subsequent panic-attack comedown was manageable (I have good panic management tools, thanks to my very very practical therapist).

But well, it's interesting that I can still do that, given that I can see the obstetrician twice and not even throw up. I can even remember what he looks like now, which I never could before. Somehow I doubt that he remembers me.

I'll be going to bed when I finish my tea. Sleep well, all y'all.

It seems very strange to be friending someone from my alternate LJ identity, but this is what I've just done. So I thought I'd leave a note here to mark the occaision. You remind me a lot of one of my favourite friends. I think you're also a little like me: building self-confidence through helping other people. If you want to know who I am, just ask.

Well, at least now I know it *can* happen, so I'll be in a better position to take appropriate precautions re: hospital when it comes to crunch time. Perhaps my subconscious thought I was getting complacent (but, you know, in a way it's a compliment to the standard of your writing. And what I'm most afraid of is fear, which is nice and trite).
