it's very nice to read a post like this from you. your midwife sounds like exactly waht a midwife should be. and while i'm glad she's seeking out an independent for you, i'm very glad that she herself isn't an independent, and women don't need spare cash to afford her, she sounds a real find. my fingers are crossed for you, and if a homebirth turns out to be a good plan, i will be cheering!
