Such a pretty light!

ailbheWell, today was it. I finally caved in and keeled over. My sinus thing got bad enough that I couldn't reliably stand - still can't, but am much much better than earlier - and Rob ended up working from home part of the day, with Linnea parked in front of the TV, and not working at all for part of the day. Still, since he worked until 2 am last night, that's not that bad.
I spent much of the day in bed, drinking vast amounts of fluids. I slept some. I read in short bursts. I couldn't face sitting upright long enough to use a laptop before 5 pm so I didn't.
As far as I can tell, Rob and Linnea enjoyed their day. When I came down to use the loo at one stage, Linnea said "Back to bed, mummy, you're sick." They went to the library, where the amazing and wonderful assistant librarian recognised them and gave them my reserved book even though they didn't have my library card and it had only just arrived so I didn't know they had it ("Little Men", in case you were wondering, and now I shall have to re-order "Jo's Boys" which I returned unread because LM hadn't arrived).
Perhaps I shall get her a beautifully bound set of Jasper Fforde at some point, to express my gratitude. There's a new one out.
