I'm so hot I might be dead. Thank heavens the bump has dropped; I was all but unable to eat a week ago.

Tomorrow I hope to go to antenatal swimming - Aquanatal it's called. There's a creche where I can leave Linnea; I hope she likes it there. If not they can just haul me out of the class. I must remember to wear my glasses into the pool so I can see people. They may well need to come and get me, as Linnea has never been left with strangers before. I'll make a point of arriving nice and early to settle her in. And I'll bring her something to eat and drink. Juice and banana muffins, probably. Something treatlike anyway.

Linnea's playhouse is playable in now; it has three walls and a roof. We'll sort out the fourth wall, the one with a door and so on, soon enough. And it needs more bracing in the frame, of course. But it will stop another day like today being quite so nerveracking - she insisted on playing outside, which meant I spent the whole time worried about sunburn. I was in the shade, watching her in the blazing sun. The playhouse is in the shady part of the garden though so we've moved the other stuff there too. Now we can both be in the shade.

We'll still overheat, but at least we won't burn.

Sunburn or lack thereof, is the number 1 thing in my life atm. I would have massive mummy guilt of either of my babies burnt. Have been lucky so far every summer. Well, lucky as in I constantly reapply high factor kiddie sun cream to them. They both like having it put on, so that's a big help :) I look after my skin better too as I set the example & reapply mine each time too. I have never, ever had sunburn myself since becoming a mother :)

Aquanatal sounds fabulous :) Not done one, though our now local pool does them I think. They also do baby lessons, but only for under 3s, so I can't take Kate, so that's a pain. The ones in Sheffield I took Kate to were under school age, though she was only 2 when we moved, but there were all ages from babies up to nearly 5s.

I hope you both enjoy your time tomorrow. I always wear my glasses in the pool too. That way I dont have to worry about loosing a contact in the water or something. I have awful eyesight anyway, I wouldn't be able to tell what is going on without glasses.

I love my aquanatal class, it always puts me in an excellent frame of mind. The exercise is part of it, and there's something about being in a pool full of pregnant women (almost all of whom at the moment are further on than me ... though that can only change with time). Getting out of the pool afterwards is the worst part.

I need to set a time for a weekly "just swimming" session as I enjoy it so much when I go, but that's still on my to-do list.
