I've also managed to overlook whether you've consented to a syntometrine injection (post-vaginal delivery of baby) to get the placenta out in 5-7 minutes.
With the vaginal examinations; it may be worth specifying a 'blanket ban' or timings on what is acceptable. At St Mary's we tend to examine (consented) on a case by case basis, but four hourly by the professional midwife 'til 10cm dilatation is most common.
