  • Make spare bed with fresh bedding and cover with dustsheet

  • Move baby clothes from attic to chest of drawers (not today, Josephine)

  • Clear kitchen Half done but then I made lunch

  • Assemble all paperwork and sort into To Do and To Deal With Later SIX WEEKS worth of paperwork. Now I just need to stamp and post a pile of envelopes. Yikes.

    Just want to wish you the best of luck with the new baby.

    My only 'crit' of the birth plan is that it's hard to pick out the five/ten things you're most concerned/adamant about within the headings.
    Feel free to underline/highlight/bolden if necessary.

    I've also managed to overlook whether you've consented to a syntometrine injection (post-vaginal delivery of baby) to get the placenta out in 5-7 minutes.

    With the vaginal examinations; it may be worth specifying a 'blanket ban' or timings on what is acceptable. At St Mary's we tend to examine (consented) on a case by case basis, but four hourly by the professional midwife 'til 10cm dilatation is most common.
