Out to the shops

We're off to pay for a couple of survival bars I found in Linnea's coat pocket. Thankfully they're from a shop where we are known and loved.

The baffling part is that I don't think she wanted to eat them.

A few weeks ago I accidentally shoplifted two pizzas from the local Co-op and didn't realise until I was entering the receipt into my accounts program a few days later and thought "er, that's a bit small, didn't I get those yummy pizzas ... oops".

The next time I went in for groceries, I picked up one box of the same pizza and got the checkout person to scan it 3 times and explained why. They looked a bit bemused but were happy to go along with it.

Kate took some mints from Asda when she was 3, from those annoying child height racks near the tills. I spotted her eating one on the way back home again, so we marched back & I made her show the girl on the till, apologise & pay for them, as she'd eaten one. The till girl just laughed & said it didn't matter, which really pissed me off. But, Kate didn't do it again anyway.
