Things I achieved today in spite of myself

1. Cooked breakfast for self and Linnea - porridge with raisins, topped with banana and pureed fruit.
2. Cooked lunch for self and Linnea - couscous with peas, and baked beans.
3. Made chocolate rice crispie buns, sort of with Linnea, using Lindt 85%.
4. Reported my Boots Advantage Card missing - new one on its way.
5. Washed breakfast and lunch dishes.
6. Did laundry.
7. Helped Linnea juice and orange, again.
8. Allowed Linnea to dissect a kiwi. She doesn't eat much of them but she enjoys playing with them.
9. Gave Linnea the wherewithal to make a cardboard crown, and cleaned up the glue afterwards.
10. Enlightened an American who was unaware that other countries existed (OK, not quite, but still...)
11. Got one step closer to eliminating spam in my ossifrage guestbook.
12. Called a woman who used to come to NCT coffee mornings. I didn't get through, but I can try again tomorrow. I'd like her son to come and play with Linnea sometimes.
13. Cleared more of the kitchen surfaces than have been visible for weeks.
14. Hoovered the dining room and front hallway. I was going to hoover the front room, too, but it got uncleared while I was doing the rest.
15. Watered the poor plants. They all need repotting and more compost. Luckily we have a bucketful from the wormery to mix in with old packet compost.
16. Brushed all of Linnea's teeth for the second day running. That is, inside, outside and edges of top and bottom sets.
17. Had a few Braxton-Hicks and a lot of kicks.
