What a day
Feb. 11th, 2006 12:00 pmDreamt Linnea was swept from my arms by a tsunami. Woke up, went downstairs to pee, found huge lumps of cat sick all over the kitchen floor. Tried to bribe Linnea into eating breakfast by having it in the front room, so saw huge shiny car pull up and an occupant tear down the YES poster on the telephone pole opposite the house. My fingers are too weak and feeble to pull down the NO poster even though we've decided that it would be fair to do so if they pull the YES down first.
Also, I have a nasty stomach upset and incredibly cold feet. All I have achieved today is breakfast, dressing, a few nappies, and a load of laundry. And the TV has been on all morning. It was that or painting, and I am too cold for painting, because it involves washing up paint stuff afterwards.
Still, Linnea likes her new orange stretchy trousers.

Date: 2006-02-11 04:06 pm (UTC)I hate it when I wake up to find cat puke everywhere. Hopefully you did not step in it. That is one of the worst ways to start a day.
I am sorry you are feeling yucky, I hope you feel better soon.
What medium do you paint in? I personally prefer oils and have been desperatly trying to get back into it (stopped when I found our I was preggers) but I really would like to do it again. It's not that I can't, I have just picked up too many hobbies to make room for it (knitting/crochet/photography/scrapbooking...somewhere painting will fit in again, right?)
OooOOOoo orange stretchy trousers sound comfy!!!!
