It's alright, it's alright, alright
Jan. 21st, 2006 10:10 pmLinnea was more or less recovered this morning. Fever gone. Just a runny nose left. I, on the other hand, am worse again (I may have forgotten to mention that on Wednesday I was too ill to leave the house, as well as having that panic attack) and Rob is also coming down with it. He seems to be a day or two behind me, progress-of-infection-wise, so hopefully I'll be better tomorrow while he lies in bed nursing glands the size of golf balls.
Getting angry enough with one's tonsils to poke them with a toothbrush offers only extremely short-term relief. I may be the only person you know qualified to state this authoritatively.
Linnea can apparently count objects up to five, and recognise the letters A, B and C. Clearly, never giving your child any early education works.
If you get the chance, go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/charlieandlola/stories/ and listen to "I am not tired and I will not go to bed" and think of us. Linnea is no longer ill enough to submit to being force-fed medicine. We've wasted 20ml of decongestant today proving this.
Rob, of course, is allowed the hard drugs, like Lemsip Max Strength.
