We are staying in a hotel!

Bad eco-points: we are flying to our holiday destination. Good eco-points: our hotel appears to be alarmingly eco-friendly as these things go. I am impressed. Solar panels, using excess kitchen steam to power generators, reusing waste-water from handbasins to fush toilets, own desalination plant, 5,000 sq metres of preserved local flora and fauna... if we have to be bloated plutocrats this is as good a way as any to at least feel good about it!

wow -- go Raddision! i'm actually a little surprised as they are a huge company. from your description i thought that it'd be some little locally run hippie thing, but no, it's a multinational chain. right on!

wow, I'm impressed.
I've been doing something similar with my trips to Brighton, staying here and various people's floors. Actually, various people's futons and couch-beds, as I seem to know Grown-Ups these days, which I still find vaguely surprising!
