Yippee! Now I can give it to my family for Christmas and pretend like it's a REAL book. And it's available from Amazon.com but not for international shipping. But that's ok, because Amazon.com would only give me um, less than 1/5 of the royalty I get from lulubooks.

Current domestic plan: Ailbhe and Rob to do no more than 15 minutes housework each after Linnea is in bed, and Ailbhe to pick up the slack in the daytimes. If this isn't possible we'll rethink, but Linnea likes to help these days.

The health visitor was around again and she has got me back on the list for the psychologist at the hospital, and agrees that if we prioritise Rob's depression now -- since it's probably easier to fix than mine, with no PTSD complications etc -- the whole family will be better off, since then only one person will be seriously messed in the head.

Linnea and I spent the morning watching TV and dashing to the loo and the afternoon painting. I was able to eat by about 2 pm, and had almost a whole piece of home-baked bread, and I ate a nice light dinner, too.

Linnea is no longer ill, but is visibly convalescent. We are not - repeat not - going to the Swedish lesson tomorrow. I'm too ill and it would be too tiring for Linnea. Rob will probably go, and fill me in later. Unless he's too tired too. It's a beginners' class and we're not quite as beginnery as all that, Gotlandsk aside.

Even when you're sick you seem to always forage ahead and get SOMETHING accomplished. That's pretty amazing. Heck, for us, even communicating enough to make the 15-minute rule would be overwhelming half the time, and you guys do it when you're under the weather one way or the other. I don't think you give yourselves enough credit. You rock. All three of you.

Have you seen wikibooks for language learning? They seem to have reasonably coherent self teaching styled material and there is a Swedish page. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Swedish .

very good to hear your (not so) little monst^W wonder's on the mend [1];
will it be possible to get multiple copies [2] of your empropered book from you, as opposed to lulu, for the same price - and do you make more ukLL this way;
and hope the new, more equitable & co-operative domestic division works out well (with any modification as proves suitable [3]) - but do remember to hug one another, any time, "for no reason", "just because"...

[1] - let us know as, when & how she regains her status of "errant misguided missile";
[2] - where "multiple" = from how many [upwards] ?;
[3] - and isn't this a better solution than murder? - you always keep the threat of that in reserve, of course - but, in the meantime, whenever you're tempted to actually employ the ultimate sanction, do bear in mind he's shown he's well-intentioned; he's tolerably decorative (fcvotw); his head, as well as his heart,'s in the right place; he's biddable - and readily available for torture...

(1) She's getting there today. Big sleeps last night. Full dinner. Full breakfast. No unexpected or immoderate evacuations.

(2) Hm. Yes, if you buy from me for the same price as from Lulu, I get 50c more - because $2.00 of the listed price goes to me and $0.50 to Lulu. I can order them for production cost price. However, the degree of faff involved makes me yawn. If you buy 4 copies at once, you can have them shipped free - all orders valued between $25 and $100 qualify for super saver shipping. I have just ordered 5 copies myself (at cost) - for gifts to Linnea's grandmother's and cousins' mother, and a couple of friends.

However, depending on how many you want, I will order multiple copies and see what price you get. Why are you asking? I find it hard to forget that you sell the damn things for a living, but I'm not your genre at all.

[2] - well, i thought about eight for friends & raletions this hogswatch, and that's excluding those who'll be familiar with 'em from lj &'ll prob'ly've ordered for themselves by then, if they want it; and then i thought, if i stick one in the window & have a copy in the shop to show, there's a fair chance i could sell one or two.. ..quite probably more.. ..especially if they were "signed by the author" & could be advertised as such in the window...

so i s'pose i'm looking at around ten copies... with possible further orders, though likely each'd be for fewer, after the first - if you're agreeable:
