As well as the other two entries today, there's no way Rob can get home less than 30 minutes late today, and Linnea has covered large areas of the house with felt-tip pens.

Please, can someone remind me why being entirely, incapacitatingly drunk is a bad idea now?

You don't want to deal with a hang-over later.

Being drunk will make multi-coloured graffiti not just annoying but potentially vomit-inducing?

Because you'd feel even worse tomorrow, hangover _and_ guilt.

Poor you, I know the feeling. If the TV isn't on, now's the time to use it!

*hugs*

Remember

You *are* allowed to leave it and clear up when you feel better. Enjoy your pit and it will treat you well. Lie amongst the felt tip pens with Linnea and have a good cuddle. Put some music on and sing silly play school songs.

When you're having a day like today drunk is only going to make it worse. Guilt, hangover, more guilt, more worry about what you're not getting done. It's a never-ending circle at these times so let it go. Do something really childish like making a tent-house with the washing over chairs and invite Linnea in with her dollies for tea.

You can never have too many felt tip pens....

I'd go for making printing stamps out of cut-out bits of potato next (you can distill the potato later for vodka) ;-)

Because if you're drunk you won't be able to keep Linnea out of trouble.

Because Linnea would take advantage of your incapacitation to. . . well, who knows, but it would probably start by covering large areas of you with felt-tip pens.
