I'm back, and the surgery went well. Now all I need to do is not split this set of stitches as I did the last one. I'm not very coherent, as those of you who have received comments will know, because I'm in pain and possibly still affected by the various drugs, but if the stitches don't split I will be well very soon indeed. My mother is here until Sunday to help look after us.
