The Post Office

ailbheI have just come back from the Post Office. It's closed.
You see, there is a Post Office on the corner. It used to be a newsagents as well, but the newsagent is gone and now it's just a Post Office. And on Wednesdays, it closes at 16:00. Except for the sale of lottery tickets. So the same member of staff is there, the same building is there, the same shelving is there - but after 4 pm, that staff member will no longer sell you an envelope or a stamp, but only a lottery ticket - which means a scratch card, because they don't do the national lottery machine thing.
I'm bemused.
